Hu Fa-kuang Hu Fa-kuang, GBS, CBE, JP (Chinese:胡法光, 1924—) was born in Shanghai and moved to Hong Kong in 1952. He is the director and managing director of Ryoden (Holdings) Ltd and other companies. He had served in many public offices including member of the Legislative Council, Urban Council, Wan Chai District Board, Transport Advisory Committee, and also Chairman of the Transport Tribunal and the Council for Recreation and Sport and a promoter of sport activities. His son is Herman Hu. During the 1990s when Hong Kong was about to be handed over to the People's Republic of China, Hu took part in negotiation and preparatory works. He was a member of the Preparatory Committee for the HKSAR and a delegate to the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He also set up a political group called the Liberal Democratic Federation of Hong Kong representing the interest of the business block. ==References==
